Storing and Utilizing Personal Information
When you provide us with your name and contact information, it is recorded in a database that is owned and managed by the NCME.
Your contact information will be utilized by the NCME as a means of tracking number of visitors, location of members from around the nation and level of interest in the educational materials. Your contact information will never be sold or rented for commercial benefit.
IP Address and Cookies
An IP address is the unique number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you log onto the Internet. As you enter the NCME’s site, our server records and monitors your IP address and uses it to develop aggregated statistical analysis. These analyses assist us in refining and adapting the content and design of our site.
A cookie is a piece of text or data that can be stored in the memory of your web browser. This data can only be retrieved by the server/domain that places the cookie. The NCME uses cookies to keep your login account active for a short period of time, so that you do not need to continually log in to each page.
