MERC Offers Archives of Free Web Seminars:
Teaching Lean Manufacturing, featuring J T. Black

On Friday, May 6, MERC hosted a free web seminar entitled "Teaching Lean Manufacturing." This web seminar featured Dr. J T. Black, Professor Emeritus, Industrial Systems Engineering, Auburn University. Dr. Black is also an Engineering Fellow with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and is co-author of Materials and Processes in Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing and Cell Design.

A free archived version of this web seminar is now available.

MERC will archive all of its future web seminars. So, if you are unable to participate in any upcoming offerings, you will be able to access the free archived files free anytime.

During "Teaching Lean Manufacturing," Dr. Black, a leading authority in lean manufacturing, shared his extensive expertise, providing participants with tools and techniques for student success in lean manufacturing concepts and applications.

Because the response to this web seminar was so positive, MERC plans to offer another "Teaching Lean Manufacturing" web seminar in the fall. Please check MERC regularly for updates.
